Basic Life Support and AED Training

The courses are designed by Clare Addison and Lucia Amato, in line with The Resuscitation Council UK guidelines. They believe that face to face training of Basic Life Support and the use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) is more effective than online training.

A cardiac arrest can happen to anyone, anywhere, at any time. A person's chance of survival falls by about 10% for each minute that passes without defibrillation.

This course will suit all healthcare professionals and any individuals who require Basic Life Support & AED training within their professional role. Our courses are CPD certified.

We believe that everyone should have the training to help save someone's life. Our courses will also aid anyone who is interested in developing the skills to perform effective Basic Life Support and achieve the confidence to use an AED.

• Assessment of an unconscious casualty.
• Basic Life Support (BLS).

Course duration: Approximatly, 2.5 hours (dependant on group size and additional course content).

• Recognition and Treatment of Anaphylaxis.
• The Recovery Position.
• First Aid/ Emergency Care.
